Schedule a 1-on-1 baby gear consultation over Zoom
Want me to look over your baby product selections and give you some solid advice on what to buy for your baby so you feel prepared?
If you want some personalized tips specific to your baby registry or product selections, here’s your chance to get them from me. Book a one-on-one baby gear coaching session over Zoom.
What happens during a consultation?
A single baby gear coaching or consultation session is 55 minutes long, and is held over Zoom. Audio only, but I may share my screen if need be. I recommend you use a laptop/desktop for our cals just in case we choose to screen share.
During the booking process, I ask you to answer some basic questions about your baby registry or product list. Please answer to the best of your ability.
I will go over your information, and then during the call, I will share with you what I feel about your register/list, what I believe you should change for improvement, what you should focus on, and how to move forward with safety in mind.
This consultation is perfect for first-time parents who may feel overwhelmed by the baby product selection process.
It is my expectation and assumption that:
- You have a general list of baby products selected.
- You have specific questions about certain products, such as: Should I go with this stroller or that one?
- You have a general idea of what your goals are, such as whether you would like to go for value (save money), use the most ecofriendly products available, or you would prefer premium products, etc.If you’re a complete beginner who hasn’t started compiling a list of products/registering yet, I recommend you read this baby registry post.
What makes me a perfect baby gear coach?
I’m a certified car seat technician and the author of the 8th, 9th and 10th editions of Consumer Reports Best Baby Products. I’ve been blogging about baby products as the founder of BabyProductsMom since 2009. In 2017, I began my journey with BabyQuip, cleaning and renting baby gear to grandparents and traveling parents. I have a mini baby superstore in my home and I keep buying inventory to meet my customers’ needs.
I’ve learned a lot about baby products from my own experience as a new mom and a journalist and continue to do so through my baby gear rental and cleaning business.
My goal is to help you buy just enough to help you feel prepared for the world’s most important job!
